Reading Time: 2 minutes

Belif Aqua Bomb is how I refer to this moisturizer even though the full name is The True Cream Aqua Bomb. This is one of my favorite korean skincare brands ever since they came to the US market. I have several products that I use regularly from their skincare line but the aqua bomb is my absolute fave.

The lightweight jelly texture feels very comforting on my normal to dry skin. It disperses or melts into water once applied and my skin immediately feels a boost of hydration. There is a refreshing cooling sensation. It does feel a little sticky at first but after a few minutes it’s pretty much gone.

This always leaves my face smooth and hydrated by morning. On warm summer nights I like to apply two layers of this before going to bed in-lieu of heavy night creams. I will use a night cream if my skin feels extra dry. Plus, this layers well under makeup without pilling.

I want to mention that alcohol denat is listed 5th on the ingredient list. My skin is sensitive to alcohol denat and reacts very horribly especially if it is listed in the first 3 ingredients. Higher on the list means it more potent and lower on the list means less potent.

Despite this being listed 5th, my skin has never had a bad reaction and I have used this moisturizer for several years straight. However, that does not mean other people won’t have a bad reaction because they can. I hope the brand can re-formulate this to become alcohol-free.

Since this has a water cream texture, you only need a few dabs of this gel to moisturize an entire face. This jar will last for a very long time. It is priced affordably along with similar water cream brands on the market and mini size jars are available as well. I have recommended this moisturizer to countless friends who have fallen in love with this product.
