My skincare routine is all about hydration and boosting skin efficacy. The first product that touches my face after cleansing is either a toner or essence. The Jurlique Activating Water Essence+ is one of my favorites essences because it literally floods my normal to dry skin with hydration and keeps moisture locked in. It has a water-like consistency but slightly more viscous. I use a generous amount each morning and evening before serum & moisturizer.
Absorbs quickly and leaves skin plump and radiant. The Marshmallow Root Extract does a great job at soothing and reducing the amount of redness in my skin. Sometimes when I forget to apply serum or moisturizer, the essence alone on skin has kept skin supple. It’s so good on softening fine lines that I also apply to neck and décolletage. While including a essence in skincare routine is not essential, it is highly recommended for those looking to maximize their results.
