Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil was one of the first oils I ever used containing 100% squalane, nowadays there are many more brands introducing squalane on the market. The good thing about squalane oil compared to other facial oils is that if you use this on your face it helps to reduce your skin’s natural sebum production.

The heavy weight frosted glass packaging makes it feel very luxe and expensive yet it is quite affordable compared to other prestige brands. The dropper is easy to control the amount of drops I want dispensed. Brand is committed to sustainability by using glass when possible and their outer packaging is eco-friendly as well.

The Squalane Facial Oil is free of toxic ingredients, no color, and does not have any scent. That means it will not irritate sensitive skin and it’s non-comedogenic so it’s safe for those with oily/acne prone skin. I love how this oil is derived naturally from olives. It has anti-aging and inflammatory properties that help with skin texture, balances oil, and dryness.

Oils are the last step in my skincare routine in the evening before bed. 2-3 drops is all I need to massage into face. A little goes a long ways so this bottle will last for a while. The viscosity is very lightweight almost like a dry oil because of that it absorbs very fast into skin so you won’t have a layer of oil sitting on the surface of skin. The consistency spreads well without any tugging.

Everytime I use this I feel like I just had a facial. Skin feels calming and super hydrating. I wake up to smooth moisturized radiant skin in the morning. I usually get oily in the t-zone and this oil really helps with reducing the oils in that area.

It mixes well with moisturizer if I need more hydration during winter weather. For summer I can use this on its own as a lightweight moisturizer. During the day I can use it to spot treat dry patches before putting on my makeup and it won’t make my face greasy at all. Perfect for air travel since this oil dries fast and keeps my skin hydrated.

Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil is available at Sephora, Indie Lee and other beauty retailers.
