Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is hands down the best lip moisturizer EVER! I’ve been using this ever since it has been on the market. It is absolutely amazing and always keeps my lips super soft, smooth, and hydrated. No wonder this is such a cult favorite among those who love using Kbeauty skincare.
Now that we are heading into fall and winter season this is perfect time when my lips need extra moisture. I adore the pink packaging. This product comes with a cute little applicator which I always forget to use and just use clean fingers for the application. Looks pink in the jar but goes on colorless. It is thick, gooey, and sticky.
The original scent is berry which smells like candy or strawberry pocky. I try to avoid scented skincare products if I can with an exception to a few which I don’t mind scented like this lip mask for instance. Other flavors: lemon sorbet, mint choco, grapefruit, apple lime, vanila, sweet candy.
If you are into clean beauty, this might not be totally clean. It contains fragrances and several types of waxes in case you have sensitive lips. Aside from that it is formulated with beta glucan, vitamin c and antioxidants from several types of berries. During an eight-hour time-release it creates a moisturizing layer over skin by locking in moisture.
The thing I like most about this is the texture. It has the softest cushioning texture that hugs my lips. You only need a tiny amount of product. I apply this after brushing my teeth just before hopping into bed. I feel like the product is slowly absorbing into my lips rather than a greasy layer just sitting on the surface as with other lip products.
It keeps the moisture locked in all thru the night. By morning there is still some residue on my lips which I just wash off with a warm wet towel. My lips feels super soft and smooth, no dry flakes in sight. This also doubles as my daytime lip balm when I don’t feel like wearing lipstick or lipgloss.
A little goes a long ways so it’s worth the investment. One jar will last me almost a year with daily use. Every year I buy a new jar in the original berry scent. I highly recommend if you are looking for a product to seriously moisturize your lips.
