Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Contour is a weightless, easy-to-blend liquid contour that creates the illusion of shadows and light to define and enhance facial features. Nearly similar formula to the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, this is blendable, streak-free, with the look of natural looking shadows. The cool tone shades are perfect for adding depth and dimension where ever you need sculpting.
Formula does not look muddy, cakey, or patchy. It layers well under and over makeup. This has amazing pigmentation, one dot of this on skin goes a long ways. There are seven shades in the collection – colors ranging from fair up to deep skin tones. This formula pairs well with liquid or cream foundations in my opinion for compatible blending.
Gentle – fair (cool taupe)
Mellow – light (cool brown)
Solace – medium (cool taupe)
Serene – medium (brown)
Tranquil – medium deep (cool brown)
Peaceful – deep (neutral brown)
Sublime – deep (cool brown)

Soft Pinch Liquid Contour is packaged in 0.50 oz / 14.88 mL plastic tube with doe foot wand (similar to their liquid blush packaging). Packaging is cute but I wonder how do I get all the product out when I start to run out of it. For this review, I have shade Solace a medium (cool taupe) which is perfect on my slightly tanned skin from a recent sunny vacation. Although, I do very light contouring this shade works very well for that purpose.

I enjoy the viscosity of this formula and the way it blends out. I have a very round face and with just a few taps of the product with my fingertips it blends out effortlessly around the perimeter of my face. For my cheekbones I use a flat brush and stipple it into skin. The pigmentation is just right and there is no streaking. Plays well with my liquid or cream foundation without pilling.

Other times, I use this like a bronzer as it creates a natural shadow but enough pigmentation to give cheeks a gentle bronze-like effect. I find these liquid formulas are great to take on travel as they won’t break and when the weather is super hot the last thing i want on my face is powder, so liquid is my best-friend. I would recommend to set your makeup after using this to ensure it stays put. I aways use a setting spray all over my face to ensure everything melts together.
