ILIA Liquid Light Serum Highlighter is packaged in a 0.5 fl oz /15 mL glass bottle with pump dispenser. I like prefer a pump dispenser over those with a doe foot applicator because the product is not exposed to air and no product leaking around the tube. This has a liquid serum-like consistency and doesn’t seem to have any fragrances. Available in 3 shades: Nova (soft gold), Atomic (soft pink pearl), & Astrid (soft rose gold). I picked up Nova because of the gold and would look great on my summer tan.
Honestly, I can use this Liquid Light Serum Highlighter in so many ways:
-Mixed in moisturizer for a nice healthy glow on no makeup days
-Mixed in sunscreen before foundation application for a glowy base
-Apply directly to cheeks to highlight
-Apply directly to brow bone or inner corners of eyes to highlight
-A few dabs to the decollate when I am wearing a low neckline or to bare shoulders for glow
It’s quite universal because of the liquid serum formula and the best value because I can use it almost anywhere. Let me just say this product dries down fairly quickly so I have to work fast before it sets in place. Clean fingers to pat the liquid down or a dry makeup sponge works the best. When I applied on top of a powder blush it looked splotchy. It works better with liquid or cream blush underneath.
I like how it gives me a natural glow. Coverage is very thin & sheer and that is perfect for me because I want my skin to show through underneath. If I want full glam this won’t the highlighter, I’ll have to reach for another brand. For natural sunkissed glow, Nova has the perfect gold sheen for my summer tanned skin. If you looking for a light breathable liquid serum with clean formulation I would recommend you to try this.
