Saturday Skin Wide Awake Brightening Eye Cream really took me by surprise when I was gifted with this pr package from Saturday Skin. I have already been using a few products from this K-beauty brand and couldn’t have been more excited to try this. My under eye area is fairly sensitive and had horrible reactions to eye creams in the past. Due to that, I am very picky with choosing eye creams and I make sure to check the ingredients prior to using.

This is a clean beauty brand that uses clean ingredients. It is formulated with antioxidants, avocado protein, date seed extract, and full of peptides. Together they boost the skin’s renewal process, firm skin, and improves the hydration & moisture barriers. It does not have a scent that I can point out which is good. The texture is on the jelly side, kind of similar to Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb. My under eye loves creamy or jelly textures.

With the first couple of uses I fell in love with this eye cream. One pump is all I need, which I divide in half and apply to each under eye area. It literally melts into my skin leaving a smooth silky finish. I give it a minute to fully absorb into skin before applying anything else on top. It smooths out the creases and fine lines. My under eye area feels plump, firmer, and a bit brighter . I do not have dark circles and rarely have puffy eyes so I cannot speak to those concerns.

The formula is very hydrating and perfect for those who have dry skin. I like this eye cream mostly for its hydration. You can use this both in the morning or evening. The hydration lasts all thru the night and it does not pill when foundation is applied on top.

I absolutely love the pink packaging but really hope they change the bulky plastic to something else. I appreciate that this has a decent good pump but for the small amount product that it contains it could be housed in a squeeze tube. If they wanted to keep the product fresh they could opt for a slim less bulky vacuum pump bottle which other brands are using on the market. It’s hard to travel with this bulky bottle that takes up so much space unless I’m just going to take their mini size bottle.

This eye cream is priced fairly in my opinion, mid-range in comparison to more expensive eye creams that run over $50+ Plus given the fact that it is formulated with clean ingredients gives me peace of mind that I am not putting anything toxic on my skin. I mean how many brands out there disclose their products are formulated clean.
