Caudalie is one of my long time favorite brands. Their skincare line works very well on my sensitive skin. I have quite a few favorites from Caudalie. I absolutely love the Vinoperfect line. The Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Essence harnesses the power of grapes to brighten skin naturally without the harsh toxic ingredients that you may typically find with brightening products.

Grapes have many skincare benefits. They are high in antioxidants, anti-aging properties, and revitalize skin by reducing fine lines and dark spots. Lovelys, this essence is a magic in a bottle. As someone who is leaning on green natural skincare, this Brightening Essence contains glycolic acid to sweep away that top layer of skin to reveal fresh radiant skin.

This Brightening Essence is housed in a beautiful thick frosted bottle. Has a luxe organic vineyard feel. The Brightening Essence itself has a viscosity similar to water. I only need a few drops to cover my entire face. Sometimes I apply with thin facial sheets but mostly I pour directly into my hands and pat onto face. It absorbs into my skin fairy quickly and does not leave behind any sticky film. Feels very lightweight and hydrating.

It has a light refreshing natural scent similar to the rest of their skincare line. I typically use this in my night time routine after freshly cleansed skin. With continued used, I have noticed the dark spots around my cheeks have slowly faded as well as pimple scars. The Brightening Essence evened out my skin texture, making my skin feel super smooth and radiant. When I don’t use this my skin notices the difference, not as glowy and skin looks dull.

One of the things that essences do is prep the skin for everything else you apply afterwards making your skin easier to absorb the product. I love using the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum in conjunction with this essence. I almost always use these two products together since the essence does the exfoliating and hydrating while the Radiance Serum does the brightening. Also, the textures of these two products work very well together.

The Caudalie Brightening Essence is available at Violet Gray Macys Anthropologie Sephora | $49 USD/5.0 oz
