Herbivore Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil is probably my first skincare product in my collection to contain cannabis. At first I was skeptical, but after multiple uses I have seen how this has calmed my skin and reduced redness. It truly feels different compared to any other facial oil I have used.
I have several bottles of these mini size Emerald CBD which I acquired through beauty offers at Sephora months ago. These mini sizes last for a very long time so I haven’t had the need to get a full size bottle just yet. I will once I used up all the mini sizes bottles.
Firstly, just look at the color. Isn’t this the most beautiful bright emerald color you’ve ever seen. I don’t think I own any oils in this color except for this. Yes it does have an CBD cannabis scent which smells a bit herbal in my opinion but does not bother me. If you’ve been transitioning to natural skincare most will have an organic herbal scent which I’ve gotten used to smelling.
By far it is my favorite night time oil mainly for calming redness. I use 2 to 3 drops on freshly cleansed skin and apply to cheek, chin, and nose area. The Emerald CBD oil is very fluid and spreads like water. It absorbs very quickly into skin and leaves a slight sheen behind but nothing greasy. Just avoid bed sheets touching face.
In the morning there is less redness and skin has a nice hydrated glow. I have normal to dry sensitive skin and this oil did not break me out. This oil is packed with 100mg full-spectrum CBD, cannabis sativa hemp seed oil, and ashwagandha. Together they help skin fight environmental stressors, restore moisture + glow, and enhance calming effects.
If you happen to have eczema the Emerald CBD is a life savior. I have several stubborn eczema patches that sometimes feel too suffocated from using heavy creams and gels to alleviate the itching and healing. I prefer using this oil which is light, absorbs quickly, and skin is able to breathe. It lessens the redness and calms the itch.
