Klairs Gentle Black Facial Cleanser is packaged in a 140mL / 4.73 oz. flip-top squeeze tube. Having tried this cleanser, this tube will last for a very long time with daily use because you won’t need very much product. If I am wearing makeup I will use this as my second cleanse in double cleansing routine and on no-makeup days it will be used as my first cleanse. I was surprised with just a pea size amount, it created a generous pile of foam and lather with a little water. Another great thing about this, there is no scent or fragrance!
This texture looks thick and creamy but love the fact when mixed with water that lather spreads easily over skin. Deep cleanses all areas so that you are not excessively tugging or creating any irritation to your face. The lather does a pretty good job at removing everything without leaving me feeling tight or stripped of moisture. Rinses off easily and did not leave any residue or films.
My skin feels really clean and soft after using it. Complexion overall looks fresh and healthy looking. It is suitable for everyday use especially if you have dry sensitive skin like myself. Since this cleanser is super gentle if your skin happens to be compromised or damaged, you’d want something like this that does not contain any active ingredients that will burn or further any damage. It is a no frills vegan formula that cleanses and great option on days when your skin is maybe feeling extra sensitive or need a break from using actives.
