I have been slowly incorporating more natural skincare products into my routine that are paraben free. I’ve been using the Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser for a few months now which I purchased at Anthropologie. I was inspired by Indie’s story where she built a skincare line that is simple, natural, and eco-friendly. Her products contain the highest levels of efficacy while keeping true to using natural ingredients.

There are only six ingredients! How simple is that. Not a list of 15-20 ingredients on the side of a box that I can’t understand. The main ingredient is Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil commonly referred as rosehip seed oil. Rosehip is great in improving skin texture, reducing scars/discoloration. Perfect as an anti-aging product where it helps to reduce facial lines while moisturizing and hydrating the skin. These ingredients are high in antioxidants and Vitamins A, E, and K while gentle enough for people with sensitive skin.

The packaging comes in a frosted glass bottle which has a colored coded strip at the top based on skin concerns. The glass is very sturdy and the pump keeps the product hygienic. I would be extra careful when handling this bottle as it would shatter if dropped on a hard surface.

The Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser is definitely gentle on my sensitive skin. The texture has a gel like consistency that has a translucent pinkish color. It reminds me of my Fresh Soy Cleanser. 2 pumps of the gel is all you need to cleanse your face, but if you wear a full face of makeup you will need to cleanse twice to get all the makeup off. I always double cleanse in the evening, first using an oil based cleanser to remove my makeup. Second cleanse is either gel or cream based cleanser. I use the Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser as my second cleanse as I want all its natural goodness to be the closest thing to my skin. Product has a low ph, little to no foaming, spreads easily on skin, and rinses off leaving no residue. Has a light refreshing rose scent that is quite subtle.

My skin felt refreshed and toned. As far as facial lines, I can’t see the benefits at this time as I would have to use this long term to see results. This was gentle and effective without drying or stripping my skin. Would I re-purchase? Yes, it did the job in cleansing and contains no harmful ingredients.
