HUDA BEAUTY OBSESSIONS EYESHADOW PALETTE

Each Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette has nine pigmented shadows, a combination of mattes and foils. There are 6 color collections, however for this review I will be speaking to the mauve palette. These shades are beautiful and the palette has become one of my favorites. I can’t get enough of the foil shades. The mini palettes are less expensive than the full size palettes which makes it a bit more friendly on my wallet.

The Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette comes in a very sturdy case. I love the mini square design. The magnetic closure is pretty strong. I accidentally dropped this on the floor and the compact did not pop open and all the shadows were still intact! The shades printed on top of the compact are in the same placement inside the compact. The size of this compact makes so convenient to throw into my purse and it is definitely travel friendly.

The eyeshadows themselves are very buttery and pick up easily on a brush. There is minimal fallouts on the dark shadows but nothing a big fluffy brush can’t fix. All of these shades compliment each other and blend out nicely. Just remember to go in light handed since these shadows are pigmented. I go no more than 3 shades on the eyelid otherwise it starts to look all muddled. On days when I’m running late for work, I just use my pinky and swipe the foil shades on to my lids. The foil shades apply better with fingers vs a brush. Either way, these shades look great mixed or individually on their own. I generally wear an eye primer and these stay on all day.

The Huda Beauty Obsession palette really impressed me. This mini palette definitely packs a punch. The shadows are amazingly pigmented and work well with each other. These shades would look great on any skin tone. I was able to create a number of looks with this little guy. It’s the perfect compact size to throw in my bag for touch ups and travel friendly when I am on vacay. If you are beginning to build your Huda Beauty eyeshadow collection, getting the mini palette would be a good place to start. I grabbed mines at Sephora.
