VISEART PETIT PRO EYESHADOW PALETTE
I love makeup and I love palettes. Most are simply too big to carry around and in the event I accidentally drop it on the floor, I’d likely cry my eyes out. Mini palette’s are my solution. I’ve heard of VISEART, a pro makeup brand for professionals in the makeup industry. A pretty expensive Parisian brand. They are top notch in makeup formulas and frequently used by makeup professionals around the world. Having heard that VISEART released a mini petit PRO eyeshadow palette that contained beautiful shades with a decent price, I jumped for it when Sephora carried it in their assortment.

An eight-shade eyeshadow palette in versatile pigment rich colors in matte, satin, and shimmer textures—curated from Viseart’s heritage Parisian formulas.

Ideal for the woman on the go. Credit-card sized compact, fits securely into purse or gym bag. Total pigment weight is a third of the larger VISEART pans making this perfect for trial to travel. Not tested on animals. No parabens, gluten, petrochemicals, silicone or mineral oils.

A regular VISEART palette has 12 shadows. The petit pro palette contains 8 shadows. It is the size of a credit card when folded up and has a magnetic closure. The packaging is made of a sturdy cardboard box with the pans held by a with magnetic backing. The palette conveniently has a small mirror making it very travel friendly. The whole palette fits inside a cardboard sleeve just incase your palette pops open.
The palette does not have numbers or names of the shades. There are 4 matte (top row) and 4 shimmers (bottom row). The top row, I find these to be my everyday neutral shades (off white, light brown, medium brown, dark brown). Great for doing a basic eye, contouring the eye, and blending the outer V. Bottom row, these shimmers have a nice color payoff (cream/beige, gold/bronze, copper, burgundy). These are great on the eyes when used alone as individual shades, used with other shades in the palette, or foiled if you spray it wet. The shimmer is very fine so you are not going to feel chunky glitter.
My makeup brush picked up a fairly good amount of product without having to jab the brush into the pan. When applied to skin, color is soft and pigmented. The colors are very blendable with minimal fallouts from the shimmers. The mattes do kick up a little powdery. I always use an eye primer, like TooFaced Shadow Insurance or Urban Decay Primer Potion and these shadows pretty much stay in place. No moving or creasing on the lids!
I admire their larger full size palettes but just could not bring myself to spending $80USD. I like that VISEART created a smaller palette that is more affordable. If you are not ready to get their regular size palettes, the petit pro palette is a great introduction to the brand and a good way to experiment with the shades. Shades are pigmented, blend fairly well, and feel smooth. I love the travel size portability as well. It is a nice palette to own if you want a mini size or if you do not have these shades in your collection already.
