Giorgio Armani beauty products are gorgeous and lives up to its luxury reputation. I’ve been obsessed with their foundations and the same can be said about their lip stains. I’m talking about the Lip Maestro Lip Stains. They may look like your typical liquid lip but to the contrary they dry down to a velvety soft matte finish offering flexibility on your lips without loosing moisture.

Love the red cap on this tube. That pop of red with the iconic logo gives the packaging a luxe feel. The long doe-foot applicator is great as it helps with the precision when lining my lips and spreading the lip stain in shorter strokes.

I am reviewing shade #500 Blush, a beautiful pinky mauve color. Delivers opaque color in a single swipe on my lips, very impressed. The texture is super creamy and glides easily on lips. With any lip product, best to exfoliate your lips beforehand and apply a lip balm for prep to avoid dry patches.

Dries down to a soft velvety matte finish without feeling tight or dry. Lips felt hydrated an youthful. The color stayed on pretty well even through eating and drinking. It leaves behind a nice stain that looks and feels natural. You can re-apply if you want to intensify the color.

I do have to say that it is not transfer proof, something that really does not bother me. For the most part, I am usually fine with whatever color is left on the lips to get me thru the rest of the day without re-applying. There is a bit of feathering so I recommend using a lip liner beforehand.

This does not have any type to scent to it. I love how comfortable this feels on my lips because it stays creamy on my lips. The pigmentation is amazing with just one application. A little bit of product goes a long ways so don’t slather or glop this on, if anything make sure you apply a nice evenly thin layer. I really like the Lip Maestro and hope to try more colors in the future
