I absolutely love Tatcha and have quite a few favorites in my skincare routine. If you struggle with dry or dull skin the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream is great at giving your skin that instant hydration and luminous glow. I picked up a jar soon after it launched at Sephora.com and have been loving it ever since!

First of all the packaging is gorgeous as with the rest of the Tatcha line. Upon opening, has a beautiful shade of purple and a refreshing lavender scent that is not overpowering. The golden spoon is perfect in scooping up a pearl size amount while keeping the cream sanitary. I know the price is a bit scary but trust me, a pearl size drop is enough for my entire face.

This cream is much thicker compared to the Water Cream (lightweight hydration) and Silk Cream (silky hydration) which I also use on rotation in my routine. The super creamy texture allows for an effortless application. For a thick cream I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it absorbed into my skin. It immediately made my skin hydrated and plump. I looked dewy with a bit of shine so this is definitely not the type of cream you go overboard with.

Formulated without mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, urea, DEA, TEA, or phthalates, plus it is cruelty-free. Purple Rice is the hero ingredient, an ancient precious rice first beloved in Japan. A strong antioxidant packed with nutrients that assist with skin recovery. It evened out my skin texture leaving skin really soft and smooth.

I use this mostly at night for that luxurious night time hydration because it feels heavy and sometimes in the morning if I want my skin to feel extra dewy. I have normal to dry skin and this cream literally drinks it up. For daytime I moisturize with the Water Cream since it is much more lightweight while providing light moisture. If you have oily skin I suggest you use the Water Cream instead because Dewy Skin Cream could feel a bit heavy on skin.

The Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream is available at Sephora, QVC, and Tatcha | $68 USD/1.7 oz
